What is the future of the Doors and Windows industry post-COVID-19?
In one word: BRIGHT. While the pandemic disrupted demand for sometime due to stringent lockdown restrictions across the country, the pent-up demand is poised to generate a gradual upswing as various regions relax and lift curbs. However, the intensity of the second wave has meant many people prefer staying indoors. As a result, consumers are more receptive to the purchase of quality windows and doors that provide proper ventilation and natural light while preventing pollutants from entering inside.
Before the pandemic, Indian consumers’ demand for the latest fenestration solutions was growing at a steady pace for years, driven by rising awareness of world-class products available abroad. Cutting-edge products introduced by leading indigenous brands such as Fenesta further fuelled the demand. Many innovative products backed by automation are now entering the market.

How do you ensure sustainability and energy efficiency in your product line?
India experiences extreme weather conditions, depending on the season. To withstand such conditions, modern fenestration solutions offer a special uPVC blend – a unique tropical formulation withstanding extreme annual radiation. These innovative windows contain titanium dioxide, which imparts colour stability even under intense UV rays. Besides, their impact modifiers ensure extra strength to carry huge loads while heat stabilisers prevent material degradation and boost all-weather stability. Fenesta offers perfect insulation against the outside heat, resulting in lower energy consumption and reduced air-conditioning costs. Made of recyclable material, our windows use far less energy in production, delivering superior insulation against heat, dust, rain and pollution. All of these help developers gain valuable LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) rating points for their projects.
